Here are the steps:
1. Log in to your hosting dashboard
- Go to your ChemiCloud dashboard.
- Left menu → Services.
- Click your hosting plan.
- Click Login to cPanel.
2. Open Softaculous
Inside cPanel, scroll to the Software section.
Click Softaculous Apps Installer → WordPress.
This is the tool that installs WordPress automatically.
3. Click “Install Now”
You will see the WordPress setup screen.
4. Configure you WordPress installation.
Software Setup
- Choose installation URL: select your domain.
- Directory: leave empty
Site Settings
- Site Name: your blog name
- Description: optional
- Leave Multisite OFF
Admin Account
- Username: NOT “admin”
- Password: strong
- Email: your preferred email
Select Plugins
Uncheck everything — keep it clean.
Advanced Opttions
- Auto-upgrade WodPress: ON
- Auto-upgrade plugins/themes: OFF
- Database name/prefix: leave default or customize.
5. Choose a theme (optional)
You can skip this — you’ll change it later.
6. Click ‘Install’
Softaculous will:
- create the database
- install WordPress
- Configure everything
Takes about 10 seconds.
7. Log in to WordPress
After installation, you’ll see:
Administrative URL:
- https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
Log in with the username and password you created.
