BIOS
Update BIOS.
- Download BIOS from ASUS website.
- Extract compressed file and rename using included app/tool.
- Transfer file to USB device and restart PC.
- Press F2 to enter UEFI BIOS Utility.
- Go to Tool > ASUS EZ Flash 3 Utility.
- Select file from USB device.
- Confirm and update BIOS.
- Wait for the process to complete (PC will reboot once it’s done).
- Press F1 to run setup.
- Check BIOS version to confirm update.
Once the BIOS has been successfully updated, the RAM frequency and CPU Virtualization configuration will return to default.
RAM
Overclock RAM.
- Go to Extreme Tweaker > Ai Overclock Tuner.
- Select D.O.C.P. Standard from the drop-down list.
CPU Virtualization
Enable CPU Virtualization.
- Go to Advanced > CPU Configuration.
- Scroll down to SVM Mode and enable CPU Virtualization.
Other settings to check when updating BIOS.
AMD fTPM configuration
- Select TPM Device > Enable Firmware TPM.
Resize BAR
- ON (enable Resize BAR Support for harnessing full GPU memory.)
Once you’re done, go to Exit and click Save Changes and Reset. Review all the changes you’ve made and press OK to confirm and reboot.
