- LH and RH Throttle friction – SET & IDLE
- LH and RH Carb Heat – OFF
- LH and RH Prop levers – FORWARD
- LH and RH Choke – AS REQUIRED
Engine start
- Strobes On – START
- Start Relay Breaker – IN
Right engine:
- Engine Ignition – BOTH ON
- Fuel Pump – ON & 4 PSI
- Prop Area – CLEAR
- Engine – START
- Oil Pressure – CHECK
- Field – ON
- Cross Bus – ON
- Amps, Volts – CHECK
- RPM – 1000
- Choke – UP (RPM adjust)
- Fuel Pump Off – OFF
Repeat all (right) items of engine start procedure for (left) engine.
