- Highlight activities to week or month ending date (use progress spotlight).
- Print/release update copies to responsible engineers/personnel.
- Update programme (set expected finish date for activities in progress).
- Finalize/review update (check milestones, critical/longest path, etc.).
- Create baseline (draft) for checking variance.
- Move data date.
- Analyze constraints (remove constraints on all in-progress and completed activities).
- Run schedule log and fix errors reported (out-of-sequence activities, etc.)
- Create baseline (final) for next week or month’s tracking.
- Tidy up / maintain baseline copies.
- Back up P6.
Create PDF copies for the following:
- Variance report
- Lookahead
- All activities
- Remaining summary
- Progress/actuals
- Longest path
