After installing the Genesis Framework and a child theme from StudioPress, I was immediately notified for a theme update.
And when I clicked on the Updates icon, I realized I had installed an older version of the Genesis Framework (2.9.1) instead of the latest one (3.0.3).
So, to fix that, all I had to do was to update the Genesis Framework.
Tip: Be sure to create a backup first before updating any themes or plugins in WordPress.
To update the theme, check the box next to the theme and then click Update Themes.
Once it’s complete, you will then see a successful confirmation message.
That’s it! If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below.
