Cockpit
- Remove the plane cover by disengaging the parking brake or through the VAMS page.
Tip: Always land with at least 70 gallons of fuel remaining.

Engine Start
Do this later. Run avionics initialization first to save on fuel.
Avionics Initialization
Go to MFD > Utilities > Initialization
Database Status
- Check Navigraph Charts (if available)
System Tests
- Run Preflight Test (Engine Fire and Stall Warn)
For the engine fire test:
- Check overhead lights/push to discharge turn on
- Verify fire warning CAS is shown
For the stall test:
- Verify AOA increases
- Hear the stall alarm and see the stall alert at CAS page
Initial Fuel
- See FOB showing 0.0 gal on MFD
- Hit FOB Sync (to sync the totalizer to the sensor value every time you refuel aircraft)
Weight and Balance
- Fill or automatically filled
- IRL > verify seat configuration
Note: Seats are removable and are not part of weight and balance.
Flight Plan
- Add origin and destination
- Load departure and arrival; do approach later
- Preview route
Performance Data (IRL)
- Confirm the amount of runway for takeoff
When done, click Accept Initialization.
