After I installed a theme, the first thing I customized was the color.
The default colors for links and button hovers were in red. It wasn’t that bad but it felt too striking so I changed it to blue.
Login to your WordPress dashboard.
Then click on Customize from the menu bar.
Select Colors from the customize pane.
Depending on your theme, there might be more or fewer customization options for you.
Here, you can change the link color and accent color.
- Link Color – This is where you change the default color for links.
- Accent Color – This is where you change the default color for button hovers.
Under Link Color, click on Select Color.
If you know the color number, just type it in or select from the color options.
Do the same for the Accent Color.
When you’re done, just click on Publish to save the changes.
