  • Circuit breakers > ALL PUSHED
  • Cabin heat > OFF
  • Takeoff torque limit > DETERMINE

Battery powered engine start

  • Bus 1 Voltage > CHECK 24V minimum
  • Beacon > ON
  • Emergency power lever > NORMAL
  • Propeller area > CLEAR
  • Auxiliary fuel pump > ON
  • Ignition switch > ON (for LO/MOTOR START, OFF for HI START)

Engine start:

  • Starter > ON
  • Oil Pressure > CHECK
  • Ng > accelerating through 14% minimum

Fuel introduction:

  • Fuel condition lever > LOW IDLE
  • ITT monitor > MONITOR (1090oC MAXIMUM, limited to 2 sec.)
  • Ng > 52% MINIMUM

After engine start:

  • Starter > OFF
  • Ignition > OFF
  • Prop RPM lever > Max RPM
  • Engine Instruments > CHECK
  • Auxiliary Fuel Pump > STANDBY
  • Generator > ON
  • Alternator > ON
  • Lights > AS REQUIRED
  • Cabin Heat, Ventilations, and Defrost > AS REQUIRED
  • Avionics > SET

Preflight GMA Audio Panels:

  • Pilot and copilot annunciations > VERIFY EXTINGUISHED
